Summary of work:
• Uncover the environmental footprint patterns of the plastics value chain in the EU-27
• Assessing the effect of socioeconomic and demographic parameters on the environmental footprint changes
• GHG footprint is not reduced in 2019 despite the higher recovery rate
The project aims to develop a method for optimal design and operation of the entire value chains, including recycling and upcycling of renewable, waste and end-of-life plastic materials.
